The Orange Carpet Visa Facility

Applications for business visa of employees of companies that are registered with the Embassy in New Delhi and the Consulate General in Mumbai as being eligible for the Orange Carpet facility can be submitted at the VFS Netherlands Visa Application Centers in Mumbai and in New Delhi without any prior appointment.
The applications will be accepted on weekdays, except Friday, from 09:00 to 09:30 hours only.

The orange carpet applications submitted after 10:00 A.M will be sent to the Embassy the next day
Applications submitted using the Orange Carpet Visa Facility has to meet the following requirements:

	Original passport must not be older than 10 years. It must be valid for at least three months longer than the intended stay. The passport must at least have two blank pages to affix the visa;
	One application form with all columns filled in and signed by the applicant (especially including the purpose of the travel and the company that is going to be visited);
	One recent photograph in the size of 35-40 mm width with white background; the face should cover 70-80% of the photo area and the photograph must not be older than 6 months;
	Covering letter in original from the Indian Organization or company of the applicant, signed by one of the authorized staff members that are registered with the Embassy/Consulate General.
	Copy of the Bio Data Page of the Current Passport (1st and last page).

As part of the Orange Carpet Visa Facility the necessity of having to show a confirmed flight reservation, medical insurance and hotel reservation is waived.
In case of a spouse and/or children that are accompanying the employee on his/her business trip, but their travel purpose is tourism, the following documents have to be attached to the applications of the spouse and/or children:

	Copy of overseas medical insurance policy, including medical emergency evacuation cover (equivalent to 30,000 Euros), corresponding with the (desired) period of stay;
	Copy of airline reservation or PNR
	In case of minor applicants (younger than 18 years) a written consents from both their parents and/or the parents signatures on the application form. A copy of the parents’ passports should be included to authenticate the signatures on the consent letter.
