New Visa Application Procedure:
Appointment for the submission of visa applications can be taken online at www.vfs-nl-in.com or by telephoning the Netherlands Visa Call Centre on +91 120 6641050. The Internet facility is available 24x7 while the phone-in facility is available 0800hrs to 1700hrs Monday-Friday.
All Short-stay visa applications are to be submitted at The Netherlands Visa Application Centre in Mumbai at: 2nd Floor, Aurum House, Dadyseth Lane, Lane next to Babulnath temple entrance, Babulnath Mumbai - 400007. In Bangalore, we are located at 1st Floor, Scott Annexe No 30, Infantry Road Bangalore -560 001.
Applicants for a short term visa who want to submit their application directly to the Consulate General can call VFS Call Centre on +91 120 6641050 in order to make an appointment. The applicant submits the file at the allotted time at the visa counter of the Consulate General

There is a service charge of Rs. 520/- (inclusive of service tax) applicable
per application over and above the visa fees. For an optional courier return of
your processed application, please request for the same at the time of
submitting your application for a nominal fee. All applicable fees are payable
in cash only at the time of submission of the application at the Netherlands
Visa Application Centre
Processed or updated application status for visa application submitted in the Mumbai Netherlands Visa Application Centre can be checked from the second working day onwards only, between 0900 - 1700 hours. For applications submitted at our Bangalore Centre, please check your application status from the third working day after submission between 1530-1630 hours.
You can also track the status of their application online by logging on to
www.vfs-nl-in.com. Applicants are requested to apply at least 03 weeks
prior to their date of travel to accommodate all processing formalities.
Applications for Diplomatic and Official passports
, Netherlands National Visa [MVV, Aruba and The
Netherlands Antilles] will continue to be submitted at the office of the
Consulate General of the Kingdom of The Netherlands,
Forbes Building, First Floor, Charanjit Rai Marg, Fort, Mumbai 400 001
with prior appointment through the Netherlands Visa Call Centre on +91 120 6641050, from 0800hrs to 1700hrs, Monday-Friday.
If required by the Consulate General, an applicant may be requested to have a personal interview at the Consulate’s visa Office (Forbes Building, 1st floor, Charanjit Rai Marg). This may be at random and is irrespective of whether one is a first time or frequent traveller.
Invitation for personal interviews with The Consulate General of the Kingdom of The Netherlands must be attended within 5 (five) working days from the date the application was submitted at the VFS Visa Application Centre for The Netherlands.
If you do not attend the personal interview within 5 (five) working days from the date the application was submitted, your application will be considered closed, so you will need to apply afresh
