Airport Transit Visa

(Airport Transit Visa is NOT REQUIRED for Indian passport holders. Below mentioned requirements are for other nationals. This visa entitles the holder to enter the international transit area of the airport but not the territory of The Netherlands.)**

Requirements:

• Original passport must not be older than 10 years; also, it must be valid for at least THREE MONTHS longer than the intended stay + 1 photocopy of the first page of the passport. Your passport must have at least TWO BLANK PAGES to affix the visa.
• One visa application form with ALL COLUMNS filled in and SIGNED by the applicant.
• TWO RECENT PHOTOS in the size of 35–40 mm in width with white background. The face should cover 70-80% of the photo area.
• Copy of the valid visa for the country of destination.
• Copy of confirmed onward airline ticket or PNR (booking printout).

• As some countries have visa upon arrival one must submit a confirmatory letter or fax from the Immigration authorities of the country to be visited.
• Minor applicants (less than 18 years) must possess individual passports along with a written consent from both their parents’ as well as both the parents’ signatures on the visa application form. A copy of both the parents’ passports should be included to authenticate the signatures on the consent letter. Copy of the death certificate or custody proof should be provided, where applicable.
• Each application must be supported by a copy of all the requisite documents.
• Applicants who have a valid visa / residence permit for the USA, Canada, Japan or an EEA- member state are exempted from an airport transit visa for The Netherlands. This applies as well for holders of Diplomatic or Service (special) passports and holders of a Flight Crew member’s License.
