Information:
-
Indian nationals travelling to Aruba need to apply for a visa.
-
Please note that a visa does not guarantee access to Aruba, since the final
authorization remains within the competence of the immigration officer at the
border. It is advised to bring copies of invitation letters and proof of
sufficient financial means when traveling.
-
There is NO need for an airport transit visa: Indian nationals on their way to
their final destination outside Aruba, staying in the transit zone of the
airport on one of the islands for a maximum of 48 hours, can do so without
having a visa for Aruba. In case the applicant wishes to stay for more than 48
hours in Aruba a visitor’s visa is required.
-
In principle all applicants have to apply in person.
The following persons DO NOT require a visa for Aruba:
-
Holders of a valid return visa for Aruba, the so called “terugkeerbewijs”.
-
Holders of a valid residence permit for the United States of America, Canada or
one of the Schengen countries ( Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland,
France, Germany, Greece, Hungary Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg,
Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain,
Sweden and The Czech Republic).
-
Children under the age of 12 (Twelve) travelling with their parents or legal
guardian.
-
Captains, crew members and passengers whose ship or airplane docks or lands in
Aruba for maximum 48 hours, provided there is no threat or danger to national
security and/or the public.
