May 2007
Minor Applicants (applicants who are below the age of 18 years) will need to
have their visa application form signed by BOTH PARENTS. The
parents’ signatures will be in addition to the minor applicant’s signature,
which cannot be accepted on its own.
In the absence of one parent, the second parent may sign the form along with the
minor applicant. The parent, who is unable to sign the visa application form,
must provide a letter of consent for the child to apply for the visa and
travel. A passport copy of this parent also needs to be submitted to
authenticate the signature in the consent letter.
If the minor applicant is a part of a single parent family, please provide a
copy of the Death Certificate or Custody proof, as applicable, to support the
same.
The Consulate General of the Kingdom of The Netherlands strongly recommends that
these instructions be complied with. Failure to provide the requested
information may lead to the application being declined at the acceptance stage
itself.
March 2007
To accommodate the increasing application volume at The Consulate General of The
Kingdom of The Netherlands, Mumbai, Interview Appointments arranged with The
Consulate, cannot be rescheduled.
Applicants may be asked to apply afresh if they are unavailable for their
scheduled Interview.
Please plan the date of your visa Submission Appointment at VFS in accordance
with this information.
