Change in the Pass Back Timings

23rd June 2008

w.e.f 23rd June 2008,the pass back timings at the Mumbai Visa Application Centre has changed to 1600 hrs to 1700 hrs

Change in Visa Application Fees

30th May 2008

Effective 30th May 2008 the Netherlands Consulate has revised the Short Stay Visa Application Fees for Airport Transit ,Ordinary Transit, Tourist & Business to 60 Euros INR 3920/-. 

Revision in VFS Logistic Fees

12th May 2008

Effective 12th May 2008, the VFS fee amount for Short Stay visa applicants will be revised to Rs.510/- including all taxes per applicant  

Change in the Pass Back Timings

26th March 2008

W.e.f 26th March 2008,the pass back timings at the Mumbai Visa Application Centre has changed to 1630 hrs to 1730 hrs.

Change in Photograph Specification

12th March 2008

W.e.f 12th March 2008, the photograph specifications have changed to 2 X 2 inches (roughly 50 mm square)with the head centered in the frame with only White back background.

The Face should cover 50 percent of the photo area.

May 2007

Minor Applicants (applicants who are below the age of 18 years) will need to have their visa application form signed by BOTH PARENTS. The parents’ signatures will be in addition to the minor applicant’s signature, which cannot be accepted on its own.

In the absence of one parent, the second parent may sign the form along with the minor applicant. The parent, who is unable to sign the visa application form, must provide a letter of consent for the child to apply for the visa and travel. A passport copy of this parent also needs to be submitted to authenticate the signature in the consent letter.

If the minor applicant is a part of a single parent family, please provide a copy of the Death Certificate or Custody proof, as applicable, to support the same.

The Consulate General of the Kingdom of The Netherlands strongly recommends that these instructions be complied with. Failure to provide the requested information may lead to the application being declined at the acceptance stage itself.

March 2007

To accommodate the increasing application volume at The Consulate General of The Kingdom of The Netherlands, Mumbai, Interview Appointments arranged with The Consulate, cannot be rescheduled.

Applicants may be asked to apply afresh if they are unavailable for their scheduled Interview.

Please plan the date of your visa Submission Appointment at VFS in accordance with this information.
