W. e. f 09 September 2013, all applicants / travel agents and Representatives applying under the Blue Carpet facility (Seamen Category) can directly walk-in between 08:00 hours to 09:00 hours and submit their application at VFS centre in Mumbai. No need to take prior appointments.
This is to inform applicants for MVV/ Caribbean that their applications would be accepted at the Netherlands Embassy in New Delhi and the Netherlands Consulate in Mumbai by prior appointment only.
Kindly call at the VFS Netherlands helpline at 022 – 67866007 to schedule your appointment. The helpline functions from 8:00.a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday except holidays.
Alternatively, you may also write in to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, you could submit your Netherlands short stay Visa applications at the VFS Netherlands Visa Application Center in Kolkata with effect from 5 August 2013.
Finally you may please note that it could take 12 – 15 days to process your short stay visa applications (exception to OCVF only).”

on this website you will be able to submit your visa application together with
the mandatory documents accurately. This will reduce the chances of your
application being delayed or declined due to inadequate or incorrect submission

contact our helpline prior to visiting our centre to submit their application
so that we may offer them best possible assistance.
|Step 1 :
||Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose
of visit’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire
visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on
choosing a visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature,
we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa and how long it will take
to process, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Embassy. You may refer
to the link ‘All about Visas’ to understand details of various visas.
|Step 2 :
||Complete you visa application form and affix your photograph. You may download
the form from this websites. Also, please mention name along with surname of
father and spouse, if applicable. Please ensure that you furnish all the
required document, you may download document checklist from this website.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
|Step 3 :
||All applicants applying for an airport transit or short stay Schengen visa (for
business, for cultural or sport events, for tourism, for visiting family or
friends, for a fellowship or as seaman) are advised to schedule a (prior)
appointment to submit their application at the VFS Visa Application Centre for
